Designed for the driver who wants stronger top-end charge, the PD2 cam pulls hard to 6700 RPM and elevates high-RPM horsepower beyond the PD1. While it can run on a stock converter, a 2500+ RPM unit is recommended for best results. Requires a 0° phaser limiter.
5.3L Platforms (L83)
Tailored for a more aggressive 5.3L PD blower setup, the PD2 requires a 3000+ RPM converter and provides a noticeable increase in upper-RPM acceleration. Strong to 6700 RPM with excellent blower compatibility. Requires a 0° phaser limiter.
