Extreme-Heat Ignition Wires for High-EGT LT Applications
The GPI gpiLT-XTR-GRY-LONG Spark Plug Wire Set is engineered for forced-induction LT engines that operate in high exhaust gas temperature environments. This Extreme Heat configuration features an upgraded boot design and an additional heat sleeve to protect ignition components from radiant heat and sustained thermal load seen in turbocharged and supercharged builds.
Built in a long-length configuration, this set is designed specifically for LT cars and trucks running GPI valve cover kits or relocated coil mounting. Each wire uses a 30 ohms-per-foot high-inductance design averaging high inductance per foot, combined with a 200 TPI copper winding and a .085 - .090? conductor diameter. The result is excellent EMI/RFI noise suppression without sacrificing spark energy on modern EFI-controlled LT platforms.
Finished in a clean gray sleeving and equipped with 45° coil boots and 45° spark plug boots, these wires provide secure engagement, clean routing, and durability where it matters most. Every GPI wire set is engineered, hand-built, and hand-tested in the USA.
