All-Out NA Stroker Cam for Maximum RPM & Power

The GPI LT-STR3 Stroker STG3 camshaft is the most aggressive NA stroker cam in the GPI lineup - built for 416 - 454ci LT1/LT4 engines running extreme compression and chasing the highest possible naturally aspirated horsepower. This cam is designed for serious competitors who want to live at 7600 - 8200 RPM and are running the airflow, compression, and valvetrain necessary to support it.

For 416 - 427ci engines, the STG3 requires 15:1 compression to perform correctly. For 454ci combinations, 14.5 - 15:1 is acceptable. As with all advanced NA stroker packages, this cam is High Ram intake only - lower-flow manifolds will not support the intended RPM range or cylinder fill. A 5FPX to GPI 5000 stall converter (5000 - 6500 RPM range) is required for proper launch and drivability.

Engineered for 416" - 454" LT Stroker Performance

The STG3 is part of GPI's dedicated lineup of high-compression NA stroker cams for the LT platform. All applications must run the High RPM Spring Kit, and due to the compression and fueling requirements, E85 or C85 is mandatory. Pump gas is not recommended under any circumstances.

For rare edge cases where STG1 - 3 do not match a customer's exact combination, GPI offers custom-ground stroker cams.

Can I run this cam with anything other than a High Ram intake?

No. The airflow requirement and RPM range of the STG3 demand a High Ram manifold. Restrictive intake designs will severely limit performance.
