GPI LT1 Camshaft - LT NFC (2014 - 2019 C7 Corvette) - LT-NFC

No-Flycut High-Compression LT1 Camshaft for Maximum N/A Performance

The GPI LT NFC Camshaft is a purpose-built, high-compression LT1 cam engineered to deliver massive naturally aspirated power - while eliminating the need for piston flycutting under specific setup conditions. Designed for the 2014 - 2019 C7 Corvette LT1, this cam is ideal for serious street/strip builds looking to squeeze every bit of performance out of a high-compression N/A configuration.

The LT NFC works with OEM LT1 heads milled .040" and paired with a .040" head gasket, resulting in approximately 13:1 compression - a requirement for this camshaft to operate at peak efficiency. Despite its aggressive profile, this combination maintains safe piston-to-valve clearance without flycutting.

Track-Proven 9-Second Performance

When paired with ported OEM heads, a Hi-Ram manifold, and supporting mods, the LT NFC has been proven to push a 3600 lb 6th Gen Camaro into the 9.90s and produce 590+ RWHP. This is serious N/A performance backed by real-world results.

Boost Compatible with Centrifugal Systems

Although tailored for high-compression N/A builds, the LT NFC maintains the same linear airflow characteristics that make GPI cams perform extremely well under centrifugal boost. If you plan to move to boost later, this cam remains a strong long-term choice.

Five LT-Series Cam Options

GPI offers five LT1 cam profiles plus custom-spec options. The LT NFC serves as a no-flycut, high-compression solution for those who want big power without diving into piston machining.

FAQs

Does the LT NFC truly require no piston flycutting?

Correct - when paired with milled .040" OEM heads and a .040" gasket (resulting in ~13:1 compression), this cam maintains safe piston-to-valve clearance without flycutting.

Is the LT NFC suitable for daily driving?

Not typically. With its 4000+ converter requirement and high-compression focus, the LT NFC is aimed at aggressive street/strip and competitive N/A builds.
