GPI LT1 Camshaft - Track Attack Hi-Ram (2014 - 2019 C7 Corvette) - LT-HIRAM

Extreme High-RPM LT1 Camshaft for Hi-Ram, High-Compression N/A Builds

The GPI Track Attack Hi-Ram LT1 Camshaft is the most aggressive, highest - RPM naturally aspirated cam GPI offers for the 2014 - 2019 C7 Corvette LT1. Designed specifically for engines running High Ram - style intake manifolds, extreme compression, and race-level supporting mods, this cam delivers peak power in the upper 7000 RPM range and is engineered for all-out performance on stock bottom-end or stock displacement setups.

With a proven track record - including an incredible 9.0 @ 147 MPH pass and over 650 RWHP on an SBE LT1 - the Hi-Ram Track Attack cam is built for racers who want absolute maximum N/A output with unmatched RPM capability.

Designed for Extreme Compression & Race Fuel

This camshaft is engineered to run a minimum of 14:1 compression, with optimal gains achieved at 14.5:1 - 15:1. As a result, this setup requires E85 or race fuel for proper knock protection and combustion efficiency.

Due to the cam's aggressive profile, a 5000+ RPM stall converter is required to maintain drivability and allow the engine to access the intended RPM window.

Optimized for High Ram Manifolds

This camshaft must be paired with a High Ram - style intake (Holley Hi-Ram, MSD Atomic Airforce Hi-Ram, etc.) and performs best with GPI's CID Track Attack LT heads, which complement the high-flow, high-RPM characteristics of the cam.

Excellent with Centrifugal Superchargers

Although designed for extreme N/A performance, the linear airflow profile and high-RPM operation of this camshaft also make it an excellent match for centrifugal supercharger systems. Its aggressive ramp rates and extended intake duration allow forced induction setups to continue pulling hard at very high RPM.

Five LT-Series Cam Options

The Hi-Ram Track Attack sits at the very top of GPI's LT1 cam lineup - above SS1, SS2, SS3, SS4, LT NFC, and even the standard Track Attack grind. For unique combinations, GPI also offers custom-spec LT1 cam profiles.

FAQs

Can I run this cam with pump gas?

No. With 14:1 - 15:1 compression, the Track Attack Hi-Ram cam requires E85 or race fuel to safely prevent detonation.

Is this cam suitable for a street-driven Corvette?

Only for extremely aggressive builds. With a 5000+ stall converter, high compression, and Hi-Ram intake requirements, this cam is intended for competitive drag racing or extreme street/strip applications.
