GPI LT1 Camshaft - LT NFC (2014 - 2019 C7 Corvette) - LT-NFC
No-Flycut LT1 Camshaft for High-Compression N/A Builds
The GPI LT NFC Camshaft is designed for LT1 enthusiasts who want maximum naturally aspirated performance without the need for piston flycutting when using the proper head milling and gasket setup. Built specifically for the 2014 - 2019 C7 Corvette LT1, the LT NFC offers aggressive lift and duration while maintaining safe piston-to-valve clearance with the correct geometry.
Using a .040" head gasket and .040" milled OEM heads - a common high-compression LT1 setup - this camshaft clears safely with a 0° limiter and requires no flycutting. For strong drivability and optimal acceleration, a 4000+ RPM torque converter is recommended.
Track-Proven LT1 Performance
GPI's LT-Series camshafts have earned a nationwide reputation for pushing 6th Gen Camaros and C7 Corvettes deep into the 10-second quarter-mile range. Backed by extensive dyno development and real-world racing, the LT NFC offers big airflow, excellent stability, and strong torque and horsepower gains across the upper RPM band.
Excellent with N/A or Centrifugal Boost
Although optimized for naturally aspirated, high-compression setups, the LT NFC performs exceptionally well with centrifugal superchargers thanks to its linear airflow and power curve. If you're building a high-compression N/A car now and planning for boost later, this cam is a great long-term choice.
Five LT-Series Cam Options
GPI offers five LT1 camshaft profiles ranging from mild to extreme, plus custom-spec options. The LT NFC provides a unique no-flycut, high-compression solution for enthusiasts seeking the strongest N/A output without piston machining.

FAQs
Do I need to flycut pistons for the LT NFC cam?
Not with the correct setup. Using a .040" gasket and .040" milled OEM heads with a 0° limiter, the LT NFC clears safely with no piston flycutting required.
Is a 4000+ stall converter absolutely required?
Yes. The LT NFC is an aggressive performance camshaft, and a 4000+ stall converter is necessary for proper drivability and to take advantage of the cam's powerband.
