The GPI SS2 LS7 Camshaft is engineered for enthusiasts who want a more aggressive character than the SS1 while retaining excellent drivability. With a moderate performance idle, strong midrange punch, and an extended top-end pull up to 7200 RPM, this cam offers serious performance gains for naturally aspirated and centrifugal-blown LS7 applications.

Please note: This is a high-lift, 3-bolt LS7 cam requiring .660? dual valve springs and hardened pushrods. Increased compression is recommended for optimal results.

More Power Up Top Without Sacrificing Torque

The SS2 LS7 rivals the low-end and midrange torque of the SS1 but adds notable horsepower gains in the upper RPM band. Its valve events and ramp design support aggressive airflow while still keeping valvetrain stability and reliability in check.
