The GSC Power-Division S3 Billet Camshaft Set is engineered for Subaru EJ207 engines in JDM and Euro WRX/STI models Version 7 and newer, equipped with single AVCS. Designed specifically for drag racing applications, these cams support fully built engines producing between 7501300 WHP and revving from 4500 to 9500 RPM.
Engine Requirements for Maximum Performance
To fully utilize the aggressive lift and duration of the S3 profile, the following upgrades are strongly recommended:
- Closed deck or sleeved bottom-end
- Ported cylinder heads with proper clearancing
- Upgraded fuel system components
- Advanced dyno tuning with standalone ECU or speed-density setup
Installation Notes
- Upgraded valve springs are required for safe operation
- Cylinder head must be clearanced to accommodate lobe size
- Maintain minimum 0.020" (0.5mm) clearance from head casting
