The GSC Power Division Race Conical Valve Spring Kit (PN GSC5097) is built for Mitsubishi 4G63T engines pushing serious horsepower. This kit is not intended for street cars or sub-1,000 HP setups—it's engineered for record-breaking builds running extreme boost and RPM.
Spring Pressure & Lift Specs
- Intake Seat Pressure: 133 lbs @ 1.510"
- Exhaust Seat Pressure: 140 lbs @ 1.490"
- Open Pressure: 295 lbs @ 1.018" (Intake & Exhaust)
- Maximum Valve Lift: 0.495" Intake / 0.472" Exhaust
- Coil Bind: 0.960"

Kit Contents
- 16 conical valve springs
- 16 lightweight titanium retainers (10% lighter and more compact than previous design)
- 16 CNC-machined chromoly valve spring seats (0.035" thicker than OEM)
Additional Notes
This kit is compatible with new OEM valve spring keepers or GSC’s GSC1003 keeper kit. No need for aftermarket locks that may introduce angle mismatch. The conical spring design naturally dampens valvetrain harmonics, reducing wear and improving longevity under extreme conditions. Ideal for high-boost, high-RPM race applications where every gram and every millisecond counts.
