Fitment and Installation

The GSC2011-01 valve is a standard size (32mm) designed to fit Subaru EJ20 and EJ257 turbo engines. GSC has fine-tuned the valve tip lengths to ensure proper valvetrain geometry and reduce installation time by minimizing the need for extensive valve tipping during lash adjustments.

The keeper groove has been specifically adjusted to balance intake and exhaust spring pressures, which helps minimize the use of valve spring shims and unlocks maximum performance when paired with GSC's spring and retainer kits. This valve is compatible with both OEM and upgraded keepers/locks. While not mandatory, it is highly recommended to use new valve locks for any high-performance application, as used locks may have material grooving from previous use.
