GSC S1 Camshafts – Gen 4 Coyote 5.0L (GSC7079S1) - 2024–2026 Mustang GT & Dark Horse
The GSC S1 Camshafts are the ideal drop-in upgrade for Gen 4 Coyote owners who want stronger midrange power and a wider usable RPM band without sacrificing street manners. Designed for daily-driven Mustangs that still see strip, track, or aggressive weekend use, the S1 profile fattens the curve where you actually drive while carrying power cleanly to the upper RPM range.
Engineered specifically around OEM as-cast Gen 4 cylinder heads, these cams are fully VCT-compatible and retain OEM direct-injection fuel pump lobe geometry for proper HPFP operation. Each cam is CNC-machined from U.S.-sourced forged billet, finished with GSC’s BLACK ISE surface treatment for reduced friction and long-term durability, and optimized for pump gas, race fuel, or ethanol blends. With proper tuning, the S1 maintains a stable idle and crisp throttle response, then pulls hard from 5,000 RPM to 7,700 RPM.
