Weight plays a crucial role in determining speed and drag times. Forgestar's revolutionary Rotary Forged technology is revolutionizing the drag racing community by creating a product that has never been seen before. Unlike traditional wheels, which have a smooth metal surface for the tire to bead onto, the F14 drag wheels feature beadseat knurling. Forgestar's state-of-the-art bead knurling, combined with reduced rolling resistance, weight, and aerodynamic drag, creates the perfect formula for high-performance drag racing wheels. This unique design creates raised and depressed planes that provide the tire with significantly more grip. This is particularly important for drag wheels, as the intense forces experienced during a wheelie and the subsequent impact can put immense stress on the tire and wheel. Improper seating of the tire can be extremely dangerous, especially considering the weight of the engine and the torque generated by the accelerating vehicle.
In addition to superior grip, the new F14 Drag Wheels have a higher load rating compared to standard cast drag racing wheels. The F14 Drag Pack is race ready and drag strip approved. These wheels feature lightweight monoblock construction and come in semi and super deep concave profiles ranging from 15" - 18" diameter. They are also offered in a beadlock option. The F14 Drag Pack is offered in gloss anthracite and satin black.
