These arms are designed to work with CA3098L-4 lowering lower control arms and 2" lowering coil springs CS3098-2 to maintain correct suspension geometry after lowering.
Lowering a Ranger without correcting upper control arm geometry can cause poor camber and caster settings, uneven tire wear, and compromised handling. These upper arms properly position the upper ball joint at the correct angle and establish the correct length in coordination with the lower arms.
