The DJM Suspension Rear Shock Extenders (Part Number SE2007) are designed for use with lowered rear coil springs on 2007-2015 Suburban, Tahoe, and Avalanche models. When you drop the rear with coil springs, the shock can lose effective length and sit at a less efficient angle. These extenders relocate the lower shock mount down and outward to provide additional shock length while keeping the shock more vertical.
Maintaining proper shock geometry helps preserve ride quality and suspension control on lowered full size GM SUV builds. Designed specifically for use with DJM rear coil springs CS2007R-2 and CS2007R-3.
