Reindex Your Torsion Bars for a True 2" Front Drop
The DJM Suspension Lowering Torsion Bar Keys (Part Number TB-2000A) are designed for 2001-2006 Chevy Avalanche, Tahoe, and Suburban models equipped with torsion bar front suspension. These keys reindex your factory torsion bars, allowing you to maintain the same factory spring rate and load while achieving a 2" lower ride height.
Unlike simply cranking down factory keys, DJM torsion keys properly reposition the torsion bar indexing point. This helps retain ride quality and front suspension integrity at a lowered height. Just like a lowered coil spring setup, a small amount of negative camber may be induced, which can be realigned back to factory specifications.
