6" Rear Drop for 2-Piece Drive Shaft Silverado and Sierra
The DJM Suspension 6" Rear Lowering Kit - Part Number FK2599-6X - is specifically engineered for 1999-2006 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra trucks equipped with the OEM 2-piece drive shaft. This complete rear lowering system delivers a true 6" drop while addressing the additional driveline considerations required for two piece drive shaft applications.
The kit includes heavy duty flip kit brackets with a fully adjustable pinion angle, allowing you to properly set driveline geometry after lowering. New U-bolts and spring plates, C-notch components, bump stops, and all required hardware are included for a complete installation.
Because these trucks utilize a two piece drive shaft, this kit also includes carrier bearing adjustment provisions to help maintain proper alignment and reduce driveline vibration after the drop.
Important: Factory rear shock mounts are staggered, with one shock mounted in front of the axle and one behind it. A passenger side shock extender is included in the flip kit.
