The DJM Suspension 5" Rear Lowering Kit (Part Number RK2099-5) is designed specifically for 2003-2006 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab 4 Door models with welded leaf spring hangers. This rear system delivers a true adjustable 4 or 5" drop using a combination of an axle flip and inverted shackle configuration.
The kit first utilizes an axle flip to achieve major drop, then raises the truck back up by inverting the shackle hanger and using a longer shackle. Depending on which hole you use on the shackle, you can net either a 4" or 5" rear drop, giving you flexibility to dial in the stance.
Included adjustable axle brackets allow you to fine tune pinion angle to eliminate driveline vibration after lowering. This makes RK2099-5 a complete rear solution for achieving proper stance and drivability.
