4" Rear Drop Designed for 4 Door Tahoe
The DJM Suspension 4" Complete Rear Lowering Kit - Part Number FK1029-4D - is engineered specifically for 1995-1999 Chevy Tahoe 4 door models only. This complete rear system delivers a true 4" drop while maintaining proper driveline geometry and suspension strength.
On 1995-1999 4 door Tahoe models, the rear frame section is straight. When installing a flip kit, the frame must be C-sectioned to regain suspension travel that is reduced during the axle repositioning process. DJM addresses this by including thick frame reinforcements designed to properly support the modified frame area.
This kit also features adjustable axle brackets that allow you to set and fine tune the pinion angle, helping eliminate driveline vibration and ensuring proper alignment. Shock extenders and all required hardware are included to complete the installation.
