The DJM Suspension 4" Complete Rear Lowering Kit - Part Number FK1029-2D - is designed specifically for 1995-1999 Chevy Tahoe and GMC Yukon 2 door models only. This kit delivers a true 4" rear drop while maintaining proper suspension geometry and structural integrity.
On 1995-1999 2 door Tahoe and Yukon models, the rear frame section is straight. When installing a flip kit, the frame must be C-sectioned to regain the suspension travel lost during the axle repositioning process. DJM addresses this with thick frame reinforcements that properly support the modified frame area.
The kit also includes adjustable axle brackets that allow you to set and fine tune the pinion angle, along with shock extenders and all required hardware to complete the installation. This ensures proper driveline alignment and rear suspension performance on lowered applications.
Important: This kit works only on 2 door Tahoe and Yukon models.
