Give Your OBS C1500 a True 4" Rear Drop
The DJM Suspension 4" Rear Lowering Kit (Part Number HS1121-4) is engineered for 1988-1998 Chevy C1500 and GMC Sierra C1500 trucks. If a basic shackle does not give you enough drop, this traditional hanger and shackle combination delivers a full 4" rear drop with proper suspension geometry.
This setup works by moving each end of the leaf spring up 2" on the frame, creating a total of 4" of rear lowering. It is a proven method for achieving the lowered stance these OBS trucks are known for while maintaining correct alignment and drivability.
Installation requires removing the factory rivets from the original hangers, which takes some elbow grease, but the results in ride height and stance are well worth the effort.
