The DJM Suspension 3" Front / 3" Rear Lowering Kit (Part Number DJM3016-3/3) is engineered specifically for the 1999-2002 Ford Excursion, delivering a balanced 3" front and 3" rear drop while maintaining alignment capability and suspension integrity.
Lowering heavy SUVs with springs alone can create alignment issues that cannot be corrected. That is why DJM uses exclusive tubular lowering beams constructed from thick walled DOM tubing, nested and welded in precision fixtures for consistent accuracy and full alignment adjustment. Simply remove the factory beams and install DJMs beams with your factory coils to achieve a true 3" front drop while retaining proper suspension travel.
In the rear, a hanger and shackle kit relocates the leaf spring mounting points upward on the frame, producing a 3" rear drop to match the front and maintain balanced stance.
Note: Shocks are not included with this kit.

Why not use lowering springs on my Excursion?
Lowering springs, cutting, or heating factory springs can create alignment issues that cannot be corrected. DJM tubular beams maintain proper geometry and alignment capability.
Are shocks included with this kit?
No. Shocks are not included. DJM recommends front shock 1415 and rear shock 2100 for proper damping once lowered.
