The DJM Suspension 3" Lowering I-Beams - Part Number DB3015-3 - are engineered to deliver a true 3" front suspension drop for 1999-2016 Ford Superduty and 1999-2002 Ford Excursion models. Designed as a direct bolt on replacement for the factory beams, these units work with stock coil springs to maintain full suspension travel and proper alignment capability.
DJM experimented with multiple construction methods to create a strong and accurate lowering beam that installs easily and performs correctly. The result is an exclusive tubular construction built from thick walled DOM tubing, nested and welded in a precision fixture. This process allows for full alignment adjustment and consistent finished geometry.
Traditional fabricated I-beam style components can suffer from weld creep during welding, which may cause slight warping and inconsistent alignment characteristics. The DJM tubular design minimizes that issue, delivering a beam that installs cleanly and retains proper geometry.
Simply remove the factory beams, install the DJM lowering beams, align the truck, and achieve a 3" drop using factory coils with full suspension travel.
Caution: Using a lowering spring in combination with these lowering I-beams can create alignment issues.
