Complete 5/5 Drop Kit for 1973-1987 C10 with 1.25" Rotors
The DJM2045H-5/5 LTD (1.25 rotor) Complete Lowering Kit delivers an aggressive and properly engineered 5" front and 5" rear drop for 1973-1987 Chevy C10 trucks equipped with 1.25" front brake rotors. This LTD version includes upgraded rear hardware, making it ideal for older squarebody builds where factory components may need replacement.
Up front, a proven 3" drop spindle combined with a set of 2" engineered DJM lowering coil springs lowers the truck approximately 5" total while maintaining factory steering geometry and predictable ride characteristics.
Rotor thickness is critical. You will have either a 1" or 1.25" front rotor. This kit is designed specifically for 1.25" rotors. If your truck has 1" rotors, use kit DJM2045L-5/5.
In the rear, a rear axle flip kit relocates the axle from beneath the leaf spring to the top of the leaf spring to achieve a full 5" rear drop. No C-section is required on the C10 frame. This LTD kit includes new U-bolts and leaf spring plates to replace original hardware if necessary.
Shocks are included to properly control suspension travel at the lowered ride height.
Important Rotor Fitment Note
This kit works only with 1.25" front brake rotors. Measure your rotor thickness before ordering. If equipped with 1" rotors, use DJM2045L-5/5 instead.
