Complete 5/5 Drop Kit for 1973-1987 C10 with 1" Rotors
The DJM2045L-5/5 LTD (1 rotor) Complete Lowering Kit delivers an aggressive 5" front and 5" rear drop for 1973-1987 Chevy C10 trucks equipped with 1.00" thick front brake rotors. This LTD version includes upgraded rear hardware, making it ideal for older squarebody builds where factory components may need replacement.
Up front, a combination of 3" drop spindles and 2" engineered DJM lowering coil springs lowers the front a total of 5" while maintaining factory steering geometry and predictable ride quality.
This kit is designed specifically for 1" rotors. If your truck is equipped with 1.25" rotors, use DJM2045H-5/5 instead.
In the rear, a rear axle flip kit relocates the axle from beneath the leaf spring to the top of the leaf spring to achieve a full 5" rear drop. No C-section is required on the C10 frame because sufficient suspension travel remains even after lowering. This LTD kit includes new U-bolts and leaf spring plates to replace original hardware if necessary.
Shocks are included to properly control suspension movement at the lowered ride height.
Important Rotor Fitment Note
This kit works only with 1.00" front brake rotors. Measure rotor thickness before ordering to ensure proper fitment.
