5" Front / 5" Rear Complete Lowering Kit for 1968-1972 Chevrolet C10 - Disc Brake Models
The DJM Suspension 5/5 Complete Lowering Kit - Part Number DJM1055-5/5 - is designed specifically for 1968-1972 Chevrolet C10 trucks equipped with 2.25" wide rear leaf springs and front disc brakes. This kit delivers a true 5" front and 5" rear drop using matched suspension components for proper alignment and stance.
The front 5" drop is achieved using lowering control arms combined with engineered drop coil springs. The control arms come pre-assembled with new urethane bushings, pivot sleeves, mounting shafts, and ball joints for simplified installation and consistent suspension geometry.
The rear 5" drop is accomplished with a leaf spring flip kit designed exclusively for 2.25" wide leaf springs. The kit includes new spring plates, U-bolts, and axle locators for secure installation and proper axle positioning.
Note: This kit is for trucks with 2.25" wide rear leaf springs and front disc brakes only. If your truck has drum brakes, a different kit is required.
