The Classic 4/6 Drop for 1999-2006 Silverado
The DJM2599-4/6 Complete Lowering Kit delivers the legendary 4" front and 6" rear drop that truck enthusiasts have trusted for years. Made famous on the 1988-1998 C1500 platform, the 4/6 setup has become the standard for a clean, aggressive street stance on 1999-2006 Chevy and GMC Silverado trucks.
Up front, lowering control arms work with the factory spring to achieve the full 4" drop while maintaining proper ball joint angles, steering geometry and alignment capability. In the rear, a heavy duty axle flip kit with frame supports provides the 6" drop and proper structural reinforcement.
This is a noticeable drop, but engineered correctly so your truck rides smooth and controlled instead of harsh and unstable. You get the stance without sacrificing drivability.
Shocks are included with this kit to properly control suspension movement at the lowered ride height.
