Classic 4/6 Drop for 1988-1998 Chevy C1500
The DJM2056-4/6 Complete Lowering Kit delivers an aggressive and time tested 4" front and 6" rear drop for 1988-1998 Chevy C1500 trucks. This combination helped make the 4/6 setup legendary in the GM truck world and remains one of the most popular stance packages available.
Up front, the kit combines drop spindles with lowering coil springs to achieve a full 4" drop. This proven method maintains proper steering geometry while delivering the lowered look C1500 owners are after.
In the rear, a flip kit relocates the axle from beneath the leaf spring to the top of the spring, achieving a 6" rear drop. While nothing is physically flipped, this is one of the most effective ways to lower the rear of most trucks. A C-notch is required to provide proper suspension travel at this ride height. DJM includes frame support brackets to reinforce the frame along with DJM exclusive pinion adjustable axle brackets for proper driveline alignment.
Shocks are included to properly control the suspension at the lowered ride height.
