Serious 3/5 Drop for 1973-1987 C10 with 1.25" Rotors
The DJM2045H-3/5 Complete Lowering Kit delivers a classic 3" front and 5" rear drop for 1973-1987 Chevy C10 trucks equipped with 1.25" front brake rotors. This setup combines traditional drop spindle performance up front with an aggressive rear flip kit for the unmistakable squarebody stance.
Up front, the time tested 3" drop spindles retain factory steering geometry while lowering the truck properly. It is critical to measure your brake rotor thickness before ordering. This kit works only with 1.25" rotors. If your truck is equipped with 1" rotors, use kit DJM2045L-3/5.
Out back, the 5" drop is achieved with a rear axle flip kit, relocating the axle from beneath the leaf spring to the top of the leaf spring. No C-section is required on the C10 frame because adequate frame relief is built in, allowing proper suspension travel even after the flip.
Tech Tip: On older trucks, factory U-bolts may be worn or corroded. If you want a version of this kit that includes new U-bolts and leaf spring plates, consider DJM2045H-3/5LTD.
This kit includes shocks to properly control the lowered ride height.
Important Rotor Fitment Note
This kit is designed only for 1.25" front brake rotors. Measure your rotors before purchasing. If your truck has 1" rotors, use DJM2045L-3/5 instead.
