Aggressive 3/5 Drop for 1973-1987 Chevy C-10
The DJM2456-3/5 Complete Lowering Kit delivers a bold 3" front and 5" rear drop for 1973-1987 Chevy C-10 trucks. If your factory bushings and ball joints are worn out, this kit upgrades your suspension while giving you the lowered stance your squarebody deserves.
Up front, new Calmax Lower Control Arms come fully assembled from the factory with new ball joints, mounting shafts with urethane bushings and urethane bumpstops already installed. These arms bolt directly into the factory location. Take them out of the box and install them without additional assembly. You gain 3" of front drop as part of the upgrade.
In the rear, the 5" drop is achieved with a flip kit that relocates the axle from beneath the leaf spring to on top of the leaf spring. No C-section is required on your C-10 because the factory frame has sufficient relief built in. Even after flipping the axle, you retain usable suspension travel.
Tech Tip: If your U-bolts are in poor condition, which is common on 30 to 40 plus year old trucks, consider kit DJM2456-3/5LTD. It includes the same setup but with a flip kit that comes with new U-bolts and leaf spring plates.
Shocks are included to properly control the suspension at the new lowered ride height.
