Leveling 3/3 Drop for 1995-1999 Chevy Tahoe 4 Door
The DJM2329-3/3 Complete Lowering Kit delivers a balanced 3" front and 3" rear drop for the 1995-1999 Chevrolet Tahoe 4 Door. This configuration is ideal if you are looking to level the stance and eliminate factory rake. That extra" in the rear compared to a 2/3 setup can make a noticeable difference in overall appearance.
Up front, the kit utilizes 3" lowering coil springs to achieve the drop. As with most deeper coil spring drops, some suspension travel is reduced, but you gain an aggressive stance while keeping cost under control.
In the rear, a hanger and shackle kit provides the 3" drop. While some hanger and shackle systems may advertise 4" of drop, this application is limited by available space. With approximately 1" from the hanger and 2" from the shackle, a true 3" rear drop is achieved without overextending the system.
Shocks are required and included to properly control suspension movement at the new ride height.

Why does this kit provide 3" instead of 4" in the rear?
Due to available suspension clearance, the hanger and shackle combination can only safely achieve 1" from the hanger and 2" from the shackle, resulting in a true 3" drop.
Will the 3" front coils affect suspension travel?
Yes. As with most deeper front coil drops, some suspension travel is reduced, but the kit delivers an aggressive leveled stance at an excellent value.
