Mild 2/2 Drop for GM SUVs with Modified McPherson Strut Front End
Beginning in 2007, GM moved to a modified McPherson Strut front suspension, creating more flexibility for lowering options. The DJM2017-2/2 Complete Lowering Kit takes full advantage of that design, delivering a clean and balanced 2" front and 2" rear drop for 2007-2015 Tahoe, Suburban, and Avalanche models.
Up front, this kit replaces the factory coil spring on the strut assembly to achieve the 2" drop. Out back, DJM engineered lowered rear coil springs provide a matching 2" reduction in ride height. Shock extenders are included to optimize factory shock geometry at the new ride height.
This is a true value kit designed to noticeably improve stance without negatively affecting ride quality. You can retain your factory tires, wheels, and shocks with confidence.
