Classic 4" Rear Drop for 8 Lug C20 and C30 Trucks
The DJM Suspension 4" Rear Lowering Leaf Spring Hanger and Shackle Kit (Part Number HS1119-4) is built specifically for 1973-1991 Chevrolet C20 and C30 8 lug trucks. If a simple shackle is not enough drop, this traditional hanger and shackle combination delivers a true 4" rear drop with proven geometry.
This kit works by moving each end of the leaf spring up 2" on the frame, resulting in a total 4" rear drop. The rear leaf spring hanger and shackle design is a time tested method for lowering classic Chevy 3/4 ton and 1 ton trucks while maintaining proper suspension alignment.
Installation does require removing the factory rivets from the original hangers, which takes some elbow grease, but the stance and results are well worth the effort.
