Heavy Duty 4" Rear Drop for 1988-1997 C2500 and C3500
The DJM Suspension 4" Rear Leaf Spring Hanger & Shackle Kit (Part Number HS2699-4-1) is designed specifically for 1988-1997 Chevy C2500 and C3500 trucks. If a standard shackle alone does not provide enough drop, adding the front leaf spring hanger creates a traditional hanger and shackle combination that delivers a true 4" rear drop.
This kit works by moving each end of the leaf spring up 2" on the frame, resulting in a total of 4" of rear lowering. It is a proven method for lowering heavy duty GM trucks while maintaining proper suspension geometry and alignment.
Installation requires removal of the factory riveted hangers, which takes some elbow grease, but the improved stance and ride height are well worth the effort.
