2" Front Drop Without Changing Track Width
The DJM Suspension 2" Drop Spindles - Part Number DS2056-2 - are engineered to lower your 1988-1998 Chevy or GMC C1500 Silverado and Sierra while maintaining factory geometry and track width. These are true 0 offset drop spindles, meaning you keep your factory wheel position and stance without pushing the wheels outward.
Designed specifically for 1992-1998 C1500 applications, this spindle features a 4.5" spud length and requires an inner wheel bearing outer diameter of 1.375". If those specs match your truck, you are ready to bolt on a clean 2" front drop right out of the box. Want to go lower? Pair it with drop coil springs for additional front end drop.
Important: This part is different from 1988-1991 C1500 Standard Cab trucks, which require part number DS2055-2. It is also not compatible with 1988-1991 Single Cab models.
As with most drop spindle applications on 1988-1998 C1500 trucks, wheel clearance should be considered. When running factory 15" wheels, or any 15" wheel, a small amount of material must be ground from the factory lower control arm to prevent contact during turning. Removing a minor amount of material provides the necessary clearance and resolves the issue.
Note: Shocks are not included. DJM recommends Front Shock 1415 sold individually.

Will these fit my 1988-1991 C1500 Standard Cab?
No. 1988-1991 Standard Cab models use part number DS2055-2. This DS2056-2 spindle is not designed for those applications.
