The Calvert Racing CalTracs Traction Bar System is engineered specifically for 1973–1979 Ford F?100 2WD trucks equipped with 3" axle tubes. Designed for applications where the axle sits below the springs, this bolt?on traction upgrade provides full pre?load adjustability, keeps the axle from rotating, maintains proper pinion angle, and eliminates spring wrap?up. The result is improved 60?foot times and consistent traction whether you’re racing, sled pulling, or towing. Each bar is finished in durable black powder coat and uses Berlin?style pivot plates for most setups.

The preload link is built from lightweight yet strong Chromoly for maximum leverage with minimal flex. Heavy?duty rod ends provide over 14,000 lbs of radial static load capacity, while the two?piece aluminum front spring eye bushings keep the pivot squared and rigid. Rear mounts are made from 5/16" mild steel to withstand proper u?bolt torque, ensuring the rear end stays locked in place.

Installation
Includes a full?color installation guide. Note that final product appearance may vary depending on your application. Some setups may require additional hardware.
