Gen 6 3.0L Whipple Technology
At the heart of the system is the Whipple Gen 6 W185RF 3.0L front-entry twin-screw supercharger. This is not a Gen 3, 4, or 5 carryover—Gen 6 is a ground-up redesign featuring all-new bearings, gears, rotors, and housing.
The advanced 3x4 rotor combination, increased rotor diameter, optimized discharge port, and 285-degree helix angle allow the Gen 6 to spin faster, run cooler, and produce more power per pound of boost than any previous Whipple system.
Cooling & Efficiency Advantages
The inverted, front-feed design allows Whipple to package an oversized air-to-water aluminum bar-plate intercooler directly in the engine valley. This intercooler is over 33% larger than competing systems, dramatically reducing intake air temperatures and supporting higher boost levels on pump gas.
An oversized aluminum intercooler reservoir (over 2 gallons) and a high-flow intercooler pump—nearly double the flow of standard units—ensure consistent power during extended pulls, towing, or aggressive driving.
