Anderson Composites Type-Z1 Double Sided Carbon Fiber Hood (AC-HD20CHC8-Z1-DS) - 2020-2026 Chevrolet Corvette C8

Give your Corvette C8 an aggressive, race-inspired upgrade with the Anderson Composites Type-Z1 carbon fiber hood. Featuring a ZR1-inspired vent design, this hood adds bold styling while offering the potential for enhanced heat extraction.

Constructed from premium 3K 2x2 twill carbon fiber, this hood is manufactured using a vacuum infusion process for excellent strength and durability. The double-sided design provides a fully finished carbon fiber underside with a bonded skeleton for added rigidity. A marine-grade gel coat with UV inhibitors protects the surface and maintains a deep, high-gloss finish.

  • No significant weight reduction due to design structure
  • Hood pins are required for safe installation and operation
  • Heat shield is required
  • Do not reinstall factory gas struts as they may damage the hood
  • Always close the hood carefully to avoid cracking
  • Professional installation is strongly recommended
