Engineered to deliver both style and function, this hood features a large GT500-style functional center vent that helps pull heat out of the engine bay for improved thermal management. Built using a vacuum infused process with 3K 2x2 twill carbon fiber, this hood offers excellent strength, rigidity, and weight savings. The double-sided design includes a bonded carbon fiber skeleton on the underside for a clean finished appearance and reduced mass. A marine-grade gel coat with UV inhibitors helps protect the surface while maintaining a deep, high-luster finish. For added convenience, this hood also includes a removable rain tray and mounts using OE hardware.

Additional Notes: Fits EcoBoost, GT, and Dark Horse models. Modifications may be necessary for proper fitment of the OE windshield washer spray nozzle system as part of normal installation. Hood is packaged with foam blocks between the vents and a ribbed panel fastened underneath the vents for shipping protection. Remove the ribbed panel and foam blocks before installation. Mounting tabs may also require minor adjustment or modification for correct fitment.
ANDERSON COMPOSITES DOES NOT SUGGEST REINSTALLING GAS SHOCKS/DAMPERS/STRUTS. OE gas struts place too much pressure on a composite hood!
