The Anderson Composites Type-GTD Double-Sided Carbon Fiber Decklid is a race-inspired upgrade engineered for serious performance builds on the 2024–2026 Ford Mustang. Drawing design influence directly from the Mustang GTD, this decklid combines aggressive aerodynamics, functional airflow management, and ultra-lightweight construction to deliver both form and function for track-focused applications.

Hand-crafted using a vacuum-infused 3K 2x2 twill carbon fiber process, this decklid achieves an exceptional carbon-to-resin ratio for maximum stiffness and strength while significantly reducing weight. The double-sided construction provides a finished carbon appearance on both the exterior and underside, delivering premium aesthetics and structural integrity. A marine-grade gel coat with UV inhibitors is applied and polished to a deep gloss finish to protect against fading and environmental exposure.

Designed with open intake scoops and mesh venting, the Type-GTD decklid promotes heat extraction, airflow management, and increased downforce at speed.
