The Vortech Power Cooler Upgrade Kit (PN 8N301-060) is an air-to-water Charge Cooler upgrade package engineered for 1996-2004 Ford Mustang models equipped with the 4.6L 2-valve engine using SVO or Bullitt Vortech supercharging configurations. This kit upgrades an existing non-cooled Vortech supercharging system to a High Output, charge-cooled configuration, improving intake air temperature control, boost efficiency, and power repeatability.
On an otherwise stock 4.6L 2V Mustang with an SVO/Bullitt Vortech system, this upgrade is designed to support approximately 10 psi of boost when properly installed and configured.
