The Vortech Power Cooler Upgrade Kit (PN 8N301-050) is an air-to-water Charge Cooler upgrade package engineered for 2001-2004 Ford Mustang Cobra and Mach 1 models equipped with the 4.6L 4-valve engine that are currently running a non-cooled Vortech supercharging system. This upgrade converts an existing non-intercooled setup into a High Output, charge-cooled configuration, improving intake air temperature control, boost efficiency, and repeatable performance.
On an otherwise stock 4.6L 4V Cobra or Mach 1, this kit is designed to support approximately 10 psi of boost via the included supercharger pulley, delivering a meaningful performance increase while maintaining drivability.
High Output Charge-Cooled Conversion
