The Vortech Superchargers Universal PowerHat Carburetor Hat Assembly Dual Entry (PN 8M106-024) is a cast aluminum carburetor hat engineered for blow-through supercharged applications using Holley 4150-style four-barrel carburetors with mechanical secondaries. This dual-entry configuration provides additional flexibility for charge-pipe routing while maintaining consistent airflow distribution under boost.
The PowerHat is compatible with popular Holley, Quick Fuel, and Demon carburetors. Depending on boost level and application, re-jetting or minor carburetor modifications may be required. Vortech recommends the Quick Fuel Q-750-BAN carburetor for most forced-induction street and performance builds.
Low-Profile, Universal Dual-Entry Design
Featuring a low-profile design measuring approximately 3.2 inches in overall height, this PowerHat is ideal for tight engine bays and hood-clearance-limited builds. The housing allows for near-360-degree rotation, making it easy to adapt to a wide range of custom supercharger and charge-pipe layouts.
Integrated Diffusion Technology
Unlike traditional carburetor hats, the Vortech PowerHat incorporates integrated diffusion technology to manage pressurized airflow before it enters the carburetor. This internal diffuser helps reduce uneven air distribution, minimizing jetting sensitivity and improving drivability and tuning consistency in blow-through setups.
