Polished Universal PowerHat Blow-Through Carburetor Hat
The Vortech Superchargers Universal PowerHat Carburetor Hat Assembly (PN 8M106-018) is a cast aluminum, blow-through carburetor hat engineered for high-performance forced-induction applications. Finished in a high-visibility polished coating, this PowerHat delivers controlled airflow and improved tuning consistency for carbureted supercharger setups.
Designed to work with Holley 4150-style 4-barrel carburetors featuring mechanical secondaries, the PowerHat is compatible with popular Quick Fuel and Demon carburetors. Minor rejetting or carburetor modifications may be required depending on boost level and engine combination. Vortech recommends the Quick Fuel Q-750-BAN carburetor for most applications.
PowerHat Diffusion Technology
Traditional carb hats can create uneven airflow that complicates tuning under boost. Vortech's integrated diffusion technology helps evenly distribute incoming air across the carburetor, reducing jetting issues and improving drivability and consistency in blow-through configurations.
