Rated at 320 CFM at 8 PSIG, the Maxflow Race Bypass Valve is ideal for high-boost centrifugal supercharger systems that require efficient pressure management during throttle lift. Proper bypass operation helps reduce compressor surge, improves drivability, and protects the supercharger during rapid throttle transitions.
Maxflow Race Valve Design & Performance
This valve features a compact billet construction optimized for installations where space is at a premium. It is designed to retrofit standard HKS and Greddy-style mounting pads, making it a versatile option for custom and retrofit applications.
The bypass valve configuration is preset by Vortech to open at approximately 3-4 inches of vacuum, ensuring quick response during deceleration. For applications configured as a blow-off valve, the valve is preset to open at 10-11 inches of vacuum.
