10:1 Rising-Rate Fuel Management Unit with 5/16" Barb Fittings
The Vortech Standard Fuel Management Unit (FMU) 10:1 (PN 6Z110-133) is a rising-rate, secondary fuel pressure regulator engineered for multi-point electronic fuel injected engines operating under boost. Installed in series with the factory fuel pressure regulator on the return line to the tank, this FMU increases fuel pressure in direct proportion to boost pressure - assuming the fuel pump being used has sufficient pressure and flow capacity.
The 10:1 calibration is designed for Vortech supercharger applications that require less fuel pressure increase than a 12:1 FMU while still maintaining safe air-to-fuel ratios. It is commonly used in setups running 24 lb/hr injectors, such as Cobra-style applications, where injector size has been modestly upgraded but a rising-rate fuel strategy is still desired.
This version features 5/16" barb fittings, making it ideal for installations using rubber fuel hose connections rather than AN plumbing. Like all Vortech FMUs, it is precision machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in a durable blue anodized coating for long-term reliability and corrosion resistance.
