12:1 Rising-Rate Fuel Management Unit with 1/4" Barb Fittings
The Vortech Standard Fuel Management Unit (FMU) 12:1 (PN 6Z110-130) is a rising-rate, secondary fuel pressure regulator designed for multi-point electronic fuel injected engines operating under boost. Installed in series with the factory fuel pressure regulator on the return line to the tank, this FMU increases fuel pressure in direct proportion to boost pressure - assuming the fuel pump provides sufficient pressure and flow.
The 12:1 calibration is standard in many Vortech supercharger systems and is ideal for applications retaining original equipment fuel injectors. It is engineered to help maintain a safe air-to-fuel ratio of approximately 10.8-11.5:1 under boost, making it a proven solution for boosted street and competition setups using stock injectors.
This configuration features 1/4" barb fittings, making it well-suited for installations using smaller-diameter rubber fuel hose connections. Like all Vortech FMUs, it is precision machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in a durable blue anodized coating for corrosion resistance and long-term reliability.
