4:1 Rising-Rate Fuel Management Unit for High-Output EFI Builds
The Vortech Standard Fuel Management Unit (FMU) 4:1 (PN 6Z110-115) is a rising-rate, secondary fuel pressure regulator engineered for multi-point electronic fuel injected engines operating under boost. Installed in series with the factory fuel pressure regulator on the return line to the tank, this FMU increases fuel pressure in proportion to boost pressure - assuming the fuel pump provides sufficient flow and pressure.
The 4:1 calibration is intended for high-output custom applications that already utilize larger-than-stock fuel injectors. By delivering a lower pressure increase per pound of boost than higher-ratio FMUs, it provides more controlled fueling for aggressive builds where injector capacity is increased and excessive fuel pressure rise is undesirable.
All Vortech FMUs are precision manufactured from CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in a durable blue anodized coating for corrosion resistance and long-term reliability.
