6:1 Rising-Rate Fuel Management Unit for High-Output EFI Builds
The Vortech Standard Fuel Management Unit (FMU) 6:1 (PN 6Z110-113) is a rising-rate, secondary fuel pressure regulator engineered for multi-point electronic fuel injected engines operating under boost. Installed in series with the factory fuel pressure regulator on the return line to the tank, this FMU increases fuel pressure in direct proportion to boost pressure - assuming the fuel pump provides sufficient flow and pressure to meet demand.
The 6:1 calibration is designed for high-output custom applications where larger-than-stock fuel injectors are used. It delivers a lower pressure increase per pound of boost compared to higher-ratio FMUs, making it well suited for builds that already have increased injector capacity and require more controlled fuel pressure rise under boost.
All Vortech FMUs are manufactured from CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in a durable blue anodized coating to ensure long-term reliability and corrosion resistance in demanding performance environments.
