How Do We Get More Performance?
Our calibration team adjusts fuel tables, drive-by-wire response, ignition timing, torque converter strategies, shift pressures, and transmission mapping to maximize performance from your 3.8L Mustang.
What Can My SCT BDX Device Do?

How Does the Process Work?
- Place your order online or by phone and provide your vehicle information.
- If your ECU calibration is up to date, tunes will be built based on your submitted info. If not, a blank device will be shipped.
- Connect the BDX to your vehicles OBD-II port, select Vehicle Info, and record your ECU strategy code.
- Email the code(s) to 5 Star Tuning.
- Youll receive your custom tunes via emaildownload them and load onto your BDX device.
- Plug the device back into your Mustang, select Program Vehicle, choose your custom tune, and follow the prompts.
