- Revert to your saved stock tune at any time
Installation Process with RTD Flasher
Using the HP Tuners RTD Flasher software (Windows PC required), installing your tune is simple:
- Connect your RTD/RTD+ device to your Mustangs OBD-II port and to your PC via USB.
- Turn ignition to the ON position (do not start engine).
- Select Read Vehicle in RTD Flasher, then Gather Information and save your stock file.
- Email your stock file to 5 Star Tuning.
- Download your custom tunes once received.
- Use RTD Flasher to resync, apply credits, and load your tune file.
- Select Write in RTD Flasher to install your tune, then follow prompts to cycle ignition.
Wi-Fi and a charged Windows laptop are required. Installation typically takes only a few minutes.
Do I Need a Shop to Install?
Noinstallation is straightforward and requires no special tools. Anyone can complete the process by following the provided steps.
